A Tub With a View

Like most of the projects A.C.T. Builders takes on, accessibility and function were the driving factors for this custom bathroom remodel in Washougal, WA. The custom shower was created with a rolling buttress to be completely barrier free. The bathtub was positioned on a platform allowing the soaker to look freely into the yard and enjoy the view without having to strain their neck to see.

The team placed a small cubby hole under the toe kick to allow for storage of a scale, keeping it out of the way, and added space for a bench seat that was left between the sinks for seating while getting ready. We spent time really maximizing space in order to satisfy all the important items requested by the client. The end result was a beautiful and functional “spa” like space.
