Now that we have completed our first home of the year we are breaking ground on the next. Between the additions, remodels and new builds we are on our way to accomplishing our mission — creating wonderful family spaces all around the pacific NW. This week is a very lively week for us her at A.C.T. Builders, LLC. We are just about all wrapped up with the addition out in Gresham. The interior painting is going today and we hope to have the flooring installed over the weekend. The custom home in Woodland is moving along great. the foundation is in and there is much more activity going on. After months and months of waiting we are finally started on the first custom home for 2013. In the past week we completed all the excavation, placed crushed rock under the footings, and started the forms for the foundation. We are incredibly excited for this project. Our other main project that we have underway is a room addition which is just wrapping up with Drywall. We have the Masonry going in wednesday and hope to be completed with the trim carpentry by the end of the week. We are thrilled with the progress of our current addition. In less than a week we completely excavated by hand, set forms passed our first inspection and are pouring a foundation. By the end of next week the hope is that the addition will be framed and roofed. We are moving along quite nicely and are excited about the process. We are also in the final phase of the underwriting process for our first custom home of the year. As soon as the lender releases the funds we are poised to move on it Quick. We are excited to get back into some ground up construction. We are thrilled and blessed with the remodel work that we have had the remodel work but we are ready to get back in the mud. In the last weeks we have completed several kitchen and bath remodels and will begin a new addition tomorrow. this is going to be an exciting year!
The last month has tested our limits. We have completed the new AEROSOLES shoe store in Woodburn OR at the company stores. We also did a whirlwind weekend renovation of an eye doctors office. Both of these projects had tight timelines to stick to and we came through with flying colors. at the same time we were working on an addition in Woodland WA. The final project that got underway last month was an office tenant improvement in Gresham OR. We are very excited to have a custom home and some larger remodels coming up in the next few months.
Now that we are head long into the summer here in the Northwest we are begin gin to get the summer jobs. This week has a reside of a house in Centralia in store. We are also laying out the foundation location for a new home in woodland and will be beginning a room addition in woodland as well. Things in Gresham are wrapping up this week with the stucco repairs and repaint of the building on Kelly ST. We also, finally, recieved the correct backsplash for the bathroom remodel in Ridgefield. Now that the unofficial land official start of summer is here the phone is ringing off the hook, or maybe i should say that our email is blowing up. Either way it appears that we are going to experience another summer of long hours and great projects. WE are blessed with a room addition and new home in Woodland, and are bidding on jobs from Chehalis to Gresham.
