After months and months of waiting we are finally started on the first custom home for 2013. In the past week we completed all the excavation, placed crushed rock under the footings, and started the forms for the foundation. We are incredibly excited for this project. Our other main project that we have underway is a room addition which is just wrapping up with Drywall. We have the Masonry going in wednesday and hope to be completed with the trim carpentry by the end of the week. We are thrilled with the progress of our current addition. In less than a week we completely excavated by hand, set forms passed our first inspection and are pouring a foundation. By the end of next week the hope is that the addition will be framed and roofed. We are moving along quite nicely and are excited about the process. We are excited to get back into some ground up construction. We are thrilled and blessed with the remodel work that we have had the remodel work but we are ready to get back in the mud. In the last weeks we have completed several kitchen and bath remodels and will begin a new addition tomorrow. this is going to be an exciting year!
